I receive today my new volociraptor from warranty. I tried to register the product in the WD Support but it only gives me warranty untill November 2013. It is possible?
afaik, the warranty for your old drive is the only one that you should care about. if you should run into another issue with your replacement in 2014 or 15, you should still be elligbile for a replacement, as it is covered in your inital warranty that came with the first drive.
wd is probably keeping a list of what drive gets replaced with another and even if they dont, explaining the situation will suffice.
an official statement on how to handle two consecutive replacements for the same drive would be nice nevetheless!
