Sorry but Western Digital does not repair or recommend repair services for our drives. Any repair attempt performed on a WD drive will void the warranty. If your drive is under warranty, please see: How to get an RMA, (Return Merchandise Authorization) or replace a defective product under warranty
hi thanks for the awnser but have some DAMAGED - SATA backplane broken and pins are exposed so im thinking that will void the warranty? the hdd still in warranty… until 2017 let me know how i can process with this…

Hi if you broke the sata connection on the drive the warranty is void due to misuse.
