Wow, a new drive that the WD diagnostic tool finds no fault with. This drive clicks loudly at all times. But, the scary part is how it screeches and grinds during heavy usage like a virus scan. It sounds like a grinder that you would use for metal work in an auto shop. That is truly how loud it is… Clearly, I am not the only one experiencing this. So, back to the store it goes.
