WD Freezes without subtitle?

So I have a Mycloud connected to my nighthawk router and my WD TV connect to my router, both via Cat6.  Whenever I play a ripped blu-ray, I will usually get through about an hour or so before it completely freezes and I have to unplug it.  I have found kind of a work around…  If I have subtitles on, it will not freeze and the movie will play flawlessly.

Any ideas on this?  Any help would be appreciated.

P.S. running latest Firmware.

Does this happen when you play the same movie from a USB drive? What kind of format is the movie that you are streaming? Are you using Media Server or network share?

I haven’t tried usb, I’m using a network share and all my movies are MKV.
I check the bitrate, but nothing goes over 50.
