Somehow the app has gone missing, and I can not find it on Play Store to reinstall.
Where did it go? How do I get that app? Is there something else available to use.

Which My Cloud app? The OS3 My Cloud app or the OS5 My Cloud app? The WD My Cloud OS3 app is no longer supported by WD and they likely removed it last April when they ended support for OS3 firmware My Cloud devices. The OS5 My Cloud app for OS5 supported My Cloud devices is there on the Google Android Play store.

A: After the services are shut down, you can only access the device on a local network. Access through the My Cloud OS 3 mobile app or web app won’t work. Email notifications won’t be delivered. Devices that had auto-update enabled received a final firmware update that disabled remote access and outbound traffic to cloud services. A: My Passport Wireless users are still able to use the My Cloud OS 3 mobile app. Otherwise, the My Cloud OS 3 app isn’t able to access any My Cloud or My Book Live devices.
If you want the discontinued OS3 My Cloud app then you’ll have to search online to see if there is an APK/file for it so it can be side loaded to your Android device. Just note the app will no longer allow access to OS3 My Cloud devices since WD shut down the OS3 remote access service that is used by the OS3 mobile app.
