WD My Cloud Home Rebuild Help

Hello,

I picked up a WD My Cloud Home (single-previously owned and boots and work fine. I need this quick solution to cop[y data from my main system. However it was blazingly slow transfer rate via ethernet. I had almost 3 TB of data.

Stopped the transfer and decided to use the 4TB drive directly to Sata connection and out of curiosity I look ad the drives structure wow partition from A-Z and the main raw partition. Anyways formatted the drive to copy the files&folder to it. MUCH MUCH FASTER only 3 hours vs 48 hours Ethernet transfer.

Once everything was transferred to the new system completed.

Used diskpart to clean the WD drive.

Reassembled the WD My cloud home device., plugged in ethernet and power. All I now have is Steady white light on power up. I was hoping the device would rebuild it’s self, nadda.

The controller card is working because it is recognized by my network as hardwire connected and online. My home app shows offline. The app i used to monitor network indicates between idle and 0.1kps (yikes that is slow)

My question is is the device attempting to rebuild? If not know worries I have a spare 4TB RED Drive

Yes I have researched this before posting including reading these form posts. Simply looking for more insight.

Forgot to mention after attempting the rebuild I remvoed the HD and attche dto the computer and presto all the original partitions A-Z plus the Raw partitions are there, so yes it seems to have rebuilt structure.

Back to original question, after reassembling the My Cloud device and hooking up to internet the light remain solid white upon startup. Is it still going through a software rebuild?
