WD TV Live Streaming not seeing QNAP TS210

Hi

Anyone using the above combination? I all my videos in the public folder. My eGreat media player picks up the NAS via the network browse with no issues and I can stream great. I got the WD TV Live Streaming for another TV and picks up other NAS but not the QNAP. I Microsoft Networking Services (enable file service for microsoft networking)is already on and so is Network Service Discovery. Tearing my hai out :slight_smile:

When I got my QNAP, eveything was set on default and my eGreat just simply found the NAS but with the WD, it does not. All networked via CAT cable.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Check if you have the latest firmware installed for the Nas and the WDTV.

I don’t have a TS-210, but I do have a TS-410 and TS-412.

Both work great with all the WDs…  One thing I do beyond the default is tell the QNAPs to always be the Master Browser (it’s under the Advanced tab of Microsoft Networking).

Also, make sure the QNAP is in the same workgroup as all the other devices.
