WD TV not showing all content

Hello, my WD TV isn’t displaying all media files from my WD My Cloud. It was working perfectly not long ago. I unplugged my Cloud when rearranging some things and when I plugged it back in, I noticed when trying to stream content to my WD TV, it was really choppy and stuttering. I reset my WD TV to factory settings and booted it up again. Now it’s just not showing all of the content.

One thing I notice that’s different is before when I would click on the videos tab on the WD TV interface, all the folders were identical to the way I have it set up on my Cloud. On my computer, the address is Network > WDMyCloud and it shows the following folders: Alex, Public, SmartWare, and TimeMachineBackup. When my WD TV mirrored those folders, which it had before, everything worked fine.

Now what is currently displayed on my WD TV is: Album, All Videos, By Date, By Folder, Playlists, and Title. I selected By Folder and a Shared Videos folder was available however in doesn’t contain everything.

I’m just wondering how to revert it back to the way it was before. Thanks!

Sounds like now you are using “Media Shares” (aka DLNA) … where originally your were using “Network Shares”

also, did you re-add your content to the Media Library (Using Network Management on the WDTV)

also remember the Red button on the remote control is your “Content Source” button

Thanks for your reply. I appologize but I’m pretty unframiliar with this stuff. What shall I do to revert it back?

Ah, I understand now. I selected Network share instead. It’s all there! Thanks a lot. It’s still choppy though :(. Unfortunately it’s unwatchable at this state. Any ideas?
