WD20EARX Raw Read Error Rate 1 - should I be worried?

Hi,

My WD20EARS drive died last week. I RMA’ed it and recieved a WD20EARX replacement from WD two days ago. As I am still traumatised I keep an eye out for errors in the Event log and the SMART table and today saw one!

The driver detected a controller error on \Device\Ide\IdePort0 in the event log and the SMART Raw Read Error Rate for the drive now reads 1 (it was 0 when I received the drive). Should I be worried it’s a brand new drive for God’s sake? When my previous drive was failing I was receiving a tons of these same errors and then SMART utterly failed - I lost some files too.
