WD30EZRX Reliability?

Hi all,

I just received 2 Hard drives WD30EZRX. Both stopped working after a few minutes during file transfer.

After that, impossible for bios to detect them.

Support told they were defective and had to be replaced.

How can WD explain such a high failure rate ?

I suppose my supplier will send me new hard drives of this kind, and i dont feel very confident to put valued data on it.

Am i just unlucky ?

Have you set up an RMA for them yet?

hi,

I made a rma via my french seller.He wrote me i had to wait 4 to 8 weeks.

A very long time for someone that like quick choice, quick buy, quick delivery and quick use.
