WD500AAKS- Diagnosis Test Failure

Can anybody tell what problem occur when i start quick or extended test on my Hard drive…I am receiveing the following error message…

Quick test on drive 2 did not complete!
Status code =07 (failed read test elements), failure checkpoint =97 (unknown test)
SMART self test did not complete on drive 2!

I am testing my drive through Data Lifeguard Diagnostic for Windows by WD…

I wouldn’t trust the drive.  I’d get it replaced as soon as you can.  Any SMART failure is bad.

Some Windows drivers don’t allow SMART commands to pass through. In this case it may be better to run the bootable DOS version of Data Lifeguard.

Otherwise try a comprehensive SMART diagnostic. Look for reallocated, pending, or uncorrectable sectors.

same problem with me with my WD5000AAKS-00A7B0… then WD replace it with WD5000AAKS-00V1A0… and that my new AAKS is FAST… my old AAKS is 86MB/s… my NEW AAKS is 130MB/s…
