I use to be able to put videos in different folders and classify the videos that way. Now WDTV just shows videos in one folder and not in their stored folders. just started happening a month ago. no changes were made. I am using win 10. How do I get the videos to show in the individual folders again?
sounds like you have your “Filter” settings set to “All Video”
on your WDTV Remote control Press 
and select Filter > Folders
The only place “A” works is in dashboard. when I am in the video screen “A” does nothing. Is there anyother way to change the filter settings?
“A” should work everywhere … unless you’ve re-assigned the button function (and also, you must be using the Media Library)
Read the User Manual for more info about Sorting and Filtering Content.
I do not get the green button except in dashboard. I reset in menu and still do not get it, I reset using pin in reset hole still do not get it. I do not understand what is happening, it’s like the “A” button on screen and on remote dissappeared. anyother suggestions?
The only thing i can think of is that you do not have your “Media Library” “ON”
(mentioned in my previous post)
and also, if you’re using Network Shares you must add your content to “My Media Library”
Without the Media Library Enabled … the Sort and Filter will not be available
