WDTV Live Strangely not showing movies

Hi All

I have seen similiar posts on this thread but not the same problem as im getting

Background

With my WD MyBook Live i have seperated my video files into seperate folders like TV series, cartoons, Family Movies, Action Movies, etc

Problem

When i have these video files set up like this and i go into folders on my WDTV Live it doesnt show the video files, as in, the folder is blank. But when i take them out of these overarching folders and put them in a folder of their own (eg Movie A has a folder titled Movie A) then it displays in there, then when i move it back to say the action folder it disappears again (along with all other movies in that folder same as the initial stage). 

Has anyone had this happen before and if so what can i do to fix it as this is getting really annoying. I have so much media that i want to fix so i can watch it on my WDTV but it just doesnt work. The biggest thing for me is the 100gb+ of videos i took whilst i was travelling, this is obviously very important for me to view

Are you accessing your MBL via “Network Shares” or “Media Server?”

If via Network shares, are all the folders you reference in the same share?

Are you using the Media LIbrary function?

If so, shut down your WDTV.   Go into the share via your PC and delete the hidden .wd_tv folder from the root of the share.

Power the WDTV back up, let it rebuild the media library.

Its a Network Share, yes al the folders are in the same share this is why i dont understand why its happening, maybe its just me or it just seems like its going crazy
