Cannot acces by WD app

MyCloud Ext 2. New laptop. Windows10. Installed new app. Cannot acces MyCloud. Message: No supported WD Devices found.

Can acces MyCloud data via file explorer when I’m at home by ip address
Can acces MyCloud dashboard via http://wdmycloudex2/

Already tried: 'private’network/ 'public’network and resetting the device.

I’m out of options…

If you have a My Cloud EX2 you should see the dedicated subforum for that device. This subforum (My Cloud) is generally for the single bay My Cloud device.

What “new app” did you install?

Generally to access a My Cloud device remotely one has to enable Cloud Access/Remote Access through the My Cloud Dashboard. See the embedded Dashboard Help for more information on how to configure remote access. And it is advisable to read the My Cloud User Manual (http://products.wdc.com/library/?id=445&type=25) for your EX2 if you haven’t already to learn about the various options/features of your device.
