I’m using 2 apple and 3 windows computers 2 of my windows computers are using old version of wd dicovery (4.3.336) so they still have access to local files via app (still have login option via app), but other computers have updated version of wd discovery so they cant access files since I can’t log in via app can somebody help me with this problem. btw I can create new folders with local access but can’t access the old ones, which I have in my my cloud account.
Try a different browser, usually Chrome browser will allow tracking your of ID because that is what Google does for a living. That will allow your log in to home.mycloud.com. This has nothing to do with WD Discovery.
This is a common problem after the last few firmware updates with higher samba versions. The solution is to reset the permission levels on all files and folders as described in this knowledgebase article
