I’ve been using MyBookLive for months now with no problem. Uploading mp3 files to Shared Music folder.
I typically access the files through a mapped drive, created by Mounting a Public Share for MyBookLive from Windows context menu. I’ve been able open the mapped drive from Windows Explorer. No Problem. Then last week, I went to open a file and found most of the folders in Shared Music missing. One folder under Shared Music was displayed. It contained the expected content, but all the others were gone.
I verified that both the files and folders do exist by searching the drive wih Agent Ransack, and SpaceSniffer.
I can even open the files through SpaceSniffer and then can browse fully through Windows Explorer! But when I close that session with Explorer and go back to open Shared Music - still only one folder shows. I’ve made sure all the folder properties on the Shared Music folder are set to show all files\folders appropriately. Tried to get to the missing folders\files with Cmd.exe, but it shows the same as Explorer.
I’m stumped. It’s like there’s some attribute set on each of the folders in Shared Music (except the one that is OK) that is making them invisible!
Any ideas? Thanks, Dan
