Hi. I’ve checked the posts and downloaded WD3.0, but still fails to transfer Facebook photos?
Do you own a WDMYCLOUD 2nd generation OS5?
What posts?
What is “WD3.0”? What is the actual name of the software or firmware you downloaded?
Do you have a My Cloud device? If so which specific model? What firmware version is it running? What troubleshooting steps have you tried?
Basically, more detailed information is needed for others to assist with your issue.
Ok, I’ve seen enough to finally realize that it’s time to GTFO before my IQ drops to match that of the dimwits who post here. I’m outtahere.
Dswv42. Thanks for the understanding. You must be a pleasure to know!
To the rest. I downloaded the version 3 software as suggested in another thread. My device is mycloud home. Delay in answering as I have to work. Any help appreciated. No need to be hostile is there now?
The My Cloud Home is a completely different device from the My Cloud line of devices. The My Cloud Home does not use OS5, the general subject of this subform. If you really have a My Cloud Home then see the dedicated subform for the My Cloud Home.
Ok thank you for the advice. Appreciated
If you haven’t done so already, search the WD Support Knowledge Base, see menu link top of page, for “Facebook”. There are a number of Knowledge Base entries related to Facebook on the My Cloud Home. The OS5 single bay My Cloud, the subject of this subforum, does not support Facebook import.

In particular, WD has apparently ended, several years ago, WD Discovery support for Facebook and Instagram import on the My Cloud Home devices.

The Facebook and Instagram import services is no longer available on WD Discovery effective June 18, 2020.

Sorry to hear about your trouble. I had a similar issue before, and what worked for me was using the “Download Your Information” feature on Facebook. It lets you download all your data, including photos, in a zip file. Make sure to follow the instructions carefully. Also, consider checking your privacy settings on Facebook and LinkedIn to ensure smooth data transfer. If you need a secure SMM panel to promote the account, here’s the best place to buy real LinkedIn followers. Good luck!
