Got trouble with my WDTV

It used to work so great. Now I suddenly can’t change to PAL! It’s constantly NTSC. And the subtitles to my moviefiles doesn’t show anymore even though I got Swedish subfiles. That used to work earlier.

And I can’t restore it to factorysettings. It stays with this new crappy firmware. If I could restore it to an earlier firmware I could try to reinstall the new one again…

Any tips? Would appreciate it.

Have you try to reset the device usign the reset bottom on the side of the unit?

Yeah, I’ve tried that. But I can’t reset it apparently… Nothing happens when I press that button…

To change between PAL and NTSC you have to hold the reset button down for MORE than 10 seconds.

And no, doing a restore factory settings does NOT revert firmware.
