Looking for feedback from people who use a logitech harmony…
Looks like when you power off the Hub with the Harmony, it does a full shutdown (which is fine) which include the external HDD. However booting up takes FOREVER, assuming its doing something with the media library. The Hub remote, of course, does not turn off the HDD.
Live and deal with it, or is there a way of disabling/changing the power down options?
I have a Harmony 880 works fine only I can’t LONG press the power button. You get it this way or that way. In the software there is a setting for how many milliseconds it sends the IR signal. You just need to go in and make it shorter.
In the Harmony Remote Software select the Devices Tab then select your Hub Then select Settings button for the Hub then tick the Adjust The Delays and select Next (bottom right of the page). I THINK it’s the POWER ON DELAY you need to shorten. Mine is set to 1500 and puts the Hub into standby and NOT a POWER down.
