Low Volume even with Sample Media given with WD Live Hub!

Hello,

I bought the Live Hub last week and everything I play on it has very low volume. I first connected this with HDMI Video and Audio and the audio from the TV was very low.

Then I connected the SPDIF with my surround system and put this on FULL volume and still it is very low. I cant even watch a movie!

There is no volume control on the Hub and I dont know what else to do

I’m a WDTV Live Hub Owner of 2.5 Years and have never had such a problem.

Maybe DRC could be the cause ? Try turning it OFF completely.

Personally, i’m just guessing as i’m running old firmware (which doesen’t have DRC options)

I am running firmware: 2.08.13

and I cant seem to find the DRC Menu window… I checked all the Menus… it is supposed to be in the Video/Audio Menu but it isn’t. Where can I find thie option?

it’s only in latest firmwares versions 3.XX.XX

If you “Bought a Hub last week” it should not have shipped with old firmware 2.08.13 (which is nearly 2yr old firmware)

2nd hand device i’m guessing  ?

Sorry would’nt have a clue what the problem is  :cry:

No It was new :S

Bought it from Ebay still in the box… just did the latest firmware yesterday
