Problems using My Cloud with Mac and Time machine

Hello,

Im looking for some help/advice with WD mycloud and my Mac. I bought this Mycloud as a way to back up both macs in the house, howver everytime i leave the computer a tima machine cannot perform as it disconnects and i get this messege “WDmyCloud” can’t be opened because the original item can’t be found.

Can anyone help with why this is happening? all i wanted was an easy solution for backing uo my data, this seems to be very problematic, the first back up alone took 3 days for just 200GB! which even over Wfi is way to long!

It sounds like you need to contact support directly for them to troubleshoot this issue.
