My remote control to my Web Tv Live stopped working. That is to say, I don’t believe that the remote is broken, I think the unit stopped accepting the commands from the remote control. Does anybody out there know how to troubleshoot this problem? Or has anybody come across this problem before?
If you have a universal remote you an program it with some of the remote commands and see if it in fact does not work. Then you can rule out the remote 100%. As a workaround if you have a smartphone you can use the WD TV app and see if that works as you are troubleshooting.
Point the remote at any digital camera and see if the remote led glows red. Check the battery. Check to make sure there are no other remote controls with stuck down buttons. Check to make sure that strong light is not falling on the player.
