WD LIVE TV HUB no output

My WD LIVE TV HUB does not appear to have any output on any ports. No power is being supplied to any of the USB ports (tried plugging other hard drives in and also the wireless dongle) and there is no output on HDMI or AV. The WD light on the front illuminates (although it does not flash when booting up) and the hard drive is spinning (can hear and feel it). The unit responds to the power button on both the remote and on the unit itself. Have tried cycling power and resetting with the button, but to no avail. All functions were working fine 2 weeks ago when it was last used.

FIRMWARE - Unknown (can’t access information on screen)

WHAT HAPPENED - As above

WHAT I WAS DOING - Turning it on to transfer files wirelessly.

HARDWARE and MEDIA - PC and MAC access the harddrive wirelessly. TV is a Panasonic. Not sure if it matters

DOES IT HAPPEN EVERYTIME - Happened for the first time today

DID IT OCCUR WITH PREVIOUS FIRMWARE - No. Did have issues with the freezing, but it alwasy displayed on the TV a power cycle would fix.

DOES POWER CYCLE SOLVE - No

DOES RESET SOLVE - No. Tried holding button for 1 second and also for greater than 10.

HAVE YOU TIRED THIS ON OTHER DEVICES - Tried ethernet connection to router but device does not appear or register on the network

If you’re not getting a Picture (via HDMI or AV) have you tried another TV ?

Do I remember right? If you hold the reset button in for more than 10 secs it goes into PAL mode?

That’s correct , but it should’nt affect HDMI output wether it’s NTSC or PAL  (it will affect AV Composite)
