Hi
Have you only recently copied the photos to the drive? After copying mine to my drive it took some time for the pics to appear on my iphone as some form of indexing is carried out by the drive. If this is the case you should see the number of photos increase each time you start the app. I have 10s of thousands of pics and it took about two days.
The other option is to try clearing the app cache on the iphone. On your phone go to the iphone Settings - find the WD Photos app and set the “Clear” setting to ON. Then try restarting the App.
Good luck.
In my short experience, WD Photos is an excellent idea, but there are a lot of improvements that should be taken into consideration from WDC:
No all of them are interested in all our photos, nor should all of them have to have access to all of our photos
This last issue is also valid for our friends or family. They would like to have access to our photos, but just for some time. There is not a way to make a decision to keep or destroy some folders. And we may destroy the memory of the phones of our friends and family.
Photos and Videos are, from our perspective, just the same: a way to keep vivid a moment of our lives. But WD Photos just provide a wonderful tool just for a part of the needs.
The function of taking a picture and storing it to the cloud is to good. But perhaps we should have the chance to decide in which folder it should be stored.
When we update the cloud, for instance when we add more photos, it should be automatically informed to all WD Photos linked to our cloud, so they automatically update the cache in that units
