Back up versions

Hi!

My passport has stored and kept a mountain of files of the past consuming my disk space. Despite I have set the number of back up versions in 1 (from button settings) it keeps storing all of them till now. How can I delete all the previous versions and keep only the last one?

Hello, Smartware wont delete any files if you reduce the backup versions, to delete them, you can manually explore the Passport and remove the files that are not needed anymore.

Hello,

it’s impossible to delete the unnecesary files manually. We are speaking for thousands files. Is a solution to delete everything from My Passport and back them up from the beggining?

Yes, you can always delete the backup folder and start a new backup, just be sure to copy any files that are important for you.
