Hello , First ,I speak spanish , sorry for my English.

I have a WD Caviar Blue 500Gb  WD5000AAKX. A few days the HD started to run slow. I decided to do a test of this with HD Regenerator  , It have to much fails  , 39 bad sectors , and 180 delays detected. After of this test , i do the WD test with Western Digital LifeGuard Diagnostic , and the results is [Deleted] The program I was able to fix the problem. Today i send it to RMA in Argentina , because it have to much bad / delay sectors , and it performance is so bad. 

But I have a question, the smart test step, but there are bad sectors, is a program failure, or I misunderstand?

Even with bad sectors you can continue to use the hard drive. If the Smart test fails you need to replace the hard drive because it will eventually fail.
